What to Expect at
Your First Visit
Your first visit is all about understanding you. We’ll take time to learn about your concerns, assess your movement and function, and discuss your goals. From there, your physical therapist will create a personalized treatment approach designed around your needs.

Your first visit begins with a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms, movement, strength, mobility, and functional needs. Your therapist will then discuss their findings and create a personalized treatment plan based on your goals.
-
Our comprehensive initial evaluation is approximately 60 minutes, giving your therapist enough time to understand your condition and develop an appropriate treatment approach.

Nope! You don't need a referral, a doctor's appointment, or any other hoops to jump through.
Because we don't accept insurance, you're in control of when and where you get care. HSA/FSA
funds can often be used toward your visits. Already have a doctor? We work with physicians all the
time, and we'll keep them in the loop on your progress so everyone stays on the same page. Just
book a visit with us and start feeling better.

There's no one-size-fits-all answer. After your initial evaluation, we'll recommend a schedule based on your condition and goals, then adjust as you progress so you're never doing more or less than you need.
One of the biggest keys to success is following your home exercise program. The nice thing is that you can do it right in the gym with one of Fit1o1's personal trainers. We work with them so they know exactly what your program looks like and can watch your form and guide you. It also adds accountability, which makes it much easier to stay consistent. -
We see a wide range of patients, from acute injuries and chronic issues to people who simply want to move better and stay well. Common reasons people visit include back and neck pain, joint pain, sprains and strains, sports injuries, and persistent aches that never fully went away. We're also experienced in working with patients before and after surgery, as well as complex, multifactorial conditions where more than one thing is contributing to the problem. If your goal is getting back to training or sport, we'll build a plan to get you there safely and keep you there. Not sure if PT is right for you? Reach out and we'll help you figure out the next step.
